Well we promised you a special evening  and indeed it was.  Jamel taught us so much.  The theme of the evening  was ‘people’ but drawn with minimum detail concentrating on light and shadows and leaving the viewer to fill in rest.  He also brought finished paintings along to use as teaching guidelines including a little perspective teaching.   At the break there was constant chatter and praise and a request to have Jamel back for a workshop.   We will follow this up.  Thank you everyone for coming.
