WAG Annual Summer Exhibition 2026

Our exhibition in 2025 was a great success and we welcomed over 500 visitors.  The comments written in the visitor’s book were very praiseworthy.  Our exhibition in 2026 will take place from Saturday 22nd August to Saturday 29th August, (excluding Sunday 23rd) 10am to 4pm, at Hythe and Dibden Community Centre off Jones Lane in Hythe: 

Waterside Art  Group members will once again hold their summer exhibition  as part of Hampshire Open Studios.  

 Art works will include a variety of media including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pencil, pastel and others.  The range of subjects will be equally diverse and will include landscapes, still life, abstract, floral and animal portraits.     

The majority of work will be for sale and will include greetings cards, unframed paintings and prints based upon original drawings.

This year there will be raffle for an original painting with several prizes.

There will also be a board showing self portraits of members.  Can you sort out who is who by the style of their work?? 

We look forward to seeing you.   As the vote for ‘your favourite  painting’ was popular we will once again offer this.  Of course some of you found it too difficult as there were many praiseworthy paintings and we agree it was a hard task!
