On Saturday 11 of us attended the first of our “Back to Basics”  workshops led by John Edwards.   We worked with charcoal to create a tonal landscape.  After fixing, paint was added and then a few more highlights added with charcoal.  After lunch we moved on to portraitures, rather scary for some!  However the results were amazing.  Thank you John.  There will be another “Back to Basics’ workshop in the autumn when we shall look at colour theory.  Here’s a little look at some of the work.
